After five years in the UK, he worked internationally for seven years in private secondary schools in Kuwait and as a private tutor for mathematics and Physics, preparing students for IGCSE and A levels, and achieving high success rates.

In 2008, he returned to the UK and specialised in teaching mathematics only at all levels from KS3, IGCSE/GCSE and A level. He has also held positions of managerial responsibility within a mathematics department, focusing on developing effective support and learning techniques for GCSE, to overcome the barriers to learning that a significant majority of mathematics learners experience.

Since 2012, Tony has continued to teach both in the UK and internationally, further developing and extending his knowledge and experience to now include IB mathematics, as well as GCSE/IGCSE and A level.

From 2020, Tony has taught using a hybrid model of class teaching and online teaching/tuition to students in the UK and internationally. The development of online tuition has significantly expanded the opportunities and support available to learners, and at Brighter Horizons Tutoring Limited, we can now offer specialised programmes of support, tailored to meet the individual needs of leaners, which are both flexible and accessible, so that all learners can reach their full potential.
In 2024, Tony joined forces with a colleague and mathematics teacher, Dennis Cella, to offer our wealth of experience and expertise on private mathematics tutoring services online for students both in the UK and internationally.
